The Singing Squad is a singing group for young people who want to get
together to sing. It is run by young people for young people,
supported by adult singing tutors and Cathie Davies, the group’s
coordinator.

The ethos behind the group is:

* Everyone has a voice and can learn to sing.
* The material singing groups tackle can be funky and contemporary.
* Performance is not just about singing and can include elements
of movement and physical theatre.

As well as singing a range of repertoire, the group has also been
encouraged and supported in developing their own material.
We meet every Wednesday from 4.30 to 6pm at the Chantry Hall in Norwich.
We welcome new members, so get in touch if you would like to join.

To find out more about the group and the history please feel free to visit our about us webpage.

Also, check out our grand finale for this year’s funding.

This open four-day workshop is being run by an experienced team from NORCA and will take on material from the hit TV show Glee, and more, combining singing some great songs with movement.  Open to any young person between the ages of 13 and 18 years.

For anyone who loves to sing, no experience necessary.  This workshop will offer a range of singing opportunities from group work to lead.  However, you will not be asked to sing on your own unless you want to.
